The Moery Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Co-Founder Diane Moery to Chief Operating Officer (COO). As Director of Operations since 2014, Diane’s part-time role has been “behind the scenes” of our 12-person firm managing payroll, invoices, and all that human resources entail. Diane is married to President JP Moery, and says, “Behind every great leader, there is a woman quietly leading.”
“Our entire company is very much a family, and I am thrilled to see my wife, Diane, embrace this expanded role as a company-wide project manager,” says JP Moery. “As a former lobbyist and Senate legislative director – she also wields the chops required to develop and manage those all-important, long-term strategic partnerships in our space. I couldn’t be more proud.”
In January 2018, two Moery staffers took family leave, and Diane stepped in. Once they returned, it became very apparent that her overall role would need to change to meet the needs of our ever-growing business.
Diane will continue her day-to-day management of the company, and serve as the project manager of all consulting clients as well as the direct report for Moery consultants. She will administer the company’s proposals and contracts, and oversee the communications department. Diane has also been tapped to fully develop and grow the Moery “Key Account Matrix Program” for our clients. And, with the launch of JP’s upcoming book, Association Hustle and his new speaking service – Diane will lead promotional efforts on both fronts.
“Assuming this new role was the natural next step for me, my family, and the business. I’m excited to meet head on the new challenges as COO and serving as an integral part of taking The Moery Company to the next level,” says Diane.
